Charming pair of oil paintings on canvas, in carved and gilded wooden frames. The paintings depict two still lifes, with summer and autumn fruits, such as grapes, watermelons, melons, lemons, plums, peaches, pomegranates, figs and pears, accompanied by a basket, leaves and a wine flask, and placed on a marble table. In the lower right there is the artist's signature, with the date and place: "M. Meucci -1899 - Firenze", it is the painter Michelangelo Meucci (1840-1909), active in Florence, and famous for his paintings of birds and still lifes. This pair of paintings is appreciated for its stylistic and realistic rendering, and is able to give a touch of antiquity and class to any environment. Florentine manufacture from the late 19th century.
