Charming watercolor painting on paper, in a gilded wooden frame. The painting depicts a view of the Essex countryside, with the town of Prittlewell, as written in the lower left. In the work, there are houses, fields, a small lake, and figures sitting, walking, or grazing oxen. In the distance, one can see a city, characterized by a Gothic bell tower clearly visible in the center of the painting. This is a watercolor with a beautiful pictorial and stylistic effect, able to give a touch of class and antiquity to any environment. Manufacture attributable to the English School of the second half of the 19th century (circa 1881).
