An extremely rare sculpture of a Madonna, carved in white marble, measures: height 51cm, width 22cm & depth 13cm, base diameter 22cm; on a round wooden base, Italy, 17th century; obviously the piece has been exposed to the open air for many years, thus having a beautiful patina.
