An elegant Louis Philippe secretary desk in solid blond walnut. The secretary desk features a wooden top and has a drawer in the upper band. The front is framed by twisted columns and has three ergonomic drawers carved with lozenges in the lower part and a drop-front door; the feet of the piece are onion-shaped. The drop-front door conceals an internal cherry wood cabinet, which consists of an open compartment, divided by a shelf, delimited by two turned pilasters and a chest of drawers in the upper part, while in the lower part there are five small drawers. The internal surface of the drop-front is covered in brown leather embellished with a frame with vegetal engravings. This secretary desk is a well-made piece of furniture and is in good condition, able to furnish any environment with taste and sober elegance. Italian manufacture, in Louis Philippe style, first half of the 19th century.
