Pair of paintings, still with their original canvas, oil on canvas measuring 70 x 82 cm without frame and 80 x 92 cm with a period French frame, depicting a still life with popular figures, animals, and game.
The artist in question was a painter of the Baroque period, known especially for still lifes of game.
The other foundations of his pictorial personality came from the study and observation of regional still lifes and influences from Romagna and Emilia, from Parmigianino regarding the figures, from Annibale Carracci's Butchery for the recurring themes and scenes, and from Felice Boselli.
The paintings and art objects published here are my exclusive property and consequently are always available to be viewed in person, by appointment, at my exhibition venues located in Sanremo and Brescia.
