Very precious and rare pair of ebonized high-backed chairs in the Neo-Renaissance style, produced in the Lombardy region in the third quarter of the 19th century, richly inlaid with light materials in grotesque designs, chimeras, trophies of arms, and mythological figures. The work on the spiral turned columns and shaped crossbars with carvings in the manner of Pogliani, Lovati, and Andreoni is superb. Excellent state of preservation, stable, and robust.
