AC/1016 - Sculpture made of faux marble in the 1950s, resting on a faux marble wooden column, a replica of the famous work by Pietro Calvi (1833 - 1884) (of which it bears the apocryphal signature) inspired by the history and life of Princess Selika. This work was commissioned by the French actor Jean Marais, who owned the original, to be used in the set design of the film "Futures Vedettes" which he starred in alongside the young Brigitte Bardot.
