Description:
Extraordinary English silver plated teapot made by the famous Atkin Brothers of Sheffield towards the end of the 19th century.
The object is distinguished by the elegance of its curved lines and the refined engraved decoration with floral and vegetal motifs, typical of the time and of the production of the Atkins, among the best-known English silversmiths of the time.
The body of the teapot is modeled with a sinuous and harmonious profile with a finely crafted lid and a handle that recalls the classic aesthetic.
The slender spout, also engraved, gives the teapot a scenic impression of great visual impact.
Important note: there is a visible lesion at the base of the spout, which is why the teapot is not suitable for use, but is offered exclusively as a decorative object.
Despite the defect, the object retains great charm and represents an excellent piece of furniture in classic environments or for collectors of English antiques.
A piece of great aesthetic value perfect for enriching a showcase or an exhibition dedicated to antique silverware.
