N. 2 globes in wood covered with paper gores bearing captions and engravings, one depicting the terrestrial globe and one the celestial globe, around concentric rings with depictions of the months with the zodiac signs, latitudes and longitudes, support in turned wood with a baluster on a tripod base.
The terrestrial globe bears the inscription SMITH'S TERRESTRIAL GLOBE containing the whole of the latest discoveries and geographical improvements, also the tracks of the most celebrated circumnavigators LONDON C.SMITH & Son 172 STRAND.
