Pair of wooden sculptures depicting "Venetian Moors" holding torch holders. The artifacts are meticulously executed, the female figure has long hair gathered in an elaborate turban, the male figure has a proud look and has a headdress of varied colors. Both sculptures are represented with a kilt, the upper band of which is decorated with mecca, while the lower part has sandracca decorations, as do the shoes. Both figures hold an elaborate candle holder in their right hand, and rest on a gold leaf decorated base. The artifacts are in perfect condition and have not undergone any restoration work. They date back to the early 1800s and are of Venetian origin, specifically Venice. The base measures 28 x 28 cm, the height is 80 cm.
