Delightful late 19th century carriage clock, small in size (5x4.5 cm, 7 cm high) with a small handle 2 cm high, made in France in the late 19th century. Also known as a travel clock: made of brass, it is manually wound from the back (photo No. 4) by opening the small door. On the front, we find the free rectangular white enamel dial (3.5 cm; h.5) with Roman numerals (cm.Ø3) enameled in black like the hands. Popular in the late 19th century, they were designed to be used during voyages and were thus portable: protective ground glasses on all sides. It is in working order and in excellent condition: like all the clocks we sell, it has been serviced to last over time.
