The model faithfully reproduces the Gothic architecture of the cathedral, with its wealth of spires, pinnacles, flying buttresses and stained-glass windows. Numerous architectural details are noticeable, from the stylized sculptures to the meticulous decorations that cover the surface. The windows are illuminated from the inside, thanks to the presence of a lighting system designed to simulate the evocative effect of light filtering through the windows of the real Cathedral.
