He became a member of the "Société Des Artistes Français", met and frequented many important artists including Jean Baptiste Corot.
His river landscapes are rich in poetry and the painter usually prefers to capture the light of sunset or dawn,
painting the figure of the tree in a dark and decisive color in contrast to the clear light of the sky.
From 1903 Didier-Pouget exhibited in the United States where he was highly appreciated.
Many works by this important artist are exhibited in many museums.
The oil painting is adorned with a beautiful gilded frame in pure gold leaf from the same period as the painting.
The frame and antique canvas have been carefully and professionally restored.
