He resumed his studies and work. He stayed in Rome and Paris on various occasions. He lived and worked alternately in Milan, Rome, and Bergamo. He participated in numerous important national exhibitions such as the Venice Biennale, the Rome Quadriennale, and the Milan Permanente. He held various solo exhibitions both in Italy and abroad. For a time he taught sculpture at the Carrara Academy in Bergamo. He participated in the organization of competitions and prizes, being part of various juries. He collaborated with numerous newspapers and magazines. His works are found in private and public collections, such as the former Rome Gallery and the Milan Gallery of Modern Art, as well as in public buildings in Bergamo, Milan, and Rome.
"... The conflict that makes these works alive and appealing lies, in short, between the illustrative and decorative elements. Between mask and character. Between symbol and reality. Between the actions of the limbs and the expression of the faces. Between rigidity and flexibility, between claw and caress. Between lasciviousness and chastity. Between the decadent and the primitive element... There is a taste for the fragmented... of the line, the arabesque, the rhythm, but at the same time there is the illustrative, almost literary, taste for that particular and portrayable human type, that particular child, that particular woman's breast or that man's back..."
