Marble and hard stone sample from the second half of the 19th century, set in a rich carved and gilded frame. The ensemble presents a vertical structure (h. 70 cm, w. 31 cm), with a series of oval inserts in different varieties of marbles and hard stones, fixed with pitch. The frame, in carved wood, is characterized by an elaborate motif of volutes, acanthus leaves and floral elements, and is entirely gilded in pure gold leaf.
