Description:
Ancient important and ancient Sardinian floor lamp with 4 lights (cm.46x46; h. m.1.64), handmade in engraved wrought iron (without welds) around 1930 in the School of Applied Arts of Oristano. Solid, the stem is worked for 3/4 (in the lower part) in a torchon and for 1/4 (in the upper part) linear: to divide these two different workings, an engraved octagonal element (photo n°5). The stem is supported by three curled feet 3 cm wide and 33 cm high, adhering to a small circle of cm.@8 (photo n°3). The maximum measurement between one curled foot and the other is cm.46. At the top there is a circular element, engraved on the two edges, with a diameter of cm.38 with a cm.9 high band, finished with 15 openwork clovers (photo n°7): externally three winged dragons, engraved in each part, with a ring in the nose (photo n°10): each dragon corresponds to a candle holder and, going up, we find a flower, where a beige wooden candle rests cm.15 high and cm.@5 wide. In the center of the circular element we find the 4th light. It is in excellent condition.
