17th CENTURY GILT WOOD OVAL FRAME

Large 17th century oval frame in carved and gilded wood with gold leaf, with a worked rebate featuring a plant motif with raised leaves, a deep groove in the central part, and the final part also carved and worked in relief. Gilded in pure gold. PERIOD: Second half of the 17th century DIMENSIONS: W. 108 cm x H. 123 cm, light W. 79 cm x H. 95 cm, rebate W. 81 cm x H. 97 cm CONDITION: Good condition, still in patina
