Rare and fascinating Heriz from the third quarter of the 19th century, featuring delicate plant-based colors and a pleasing, delicate Abrash. The carpet, never restored, is in rare, excellent condition. The floral symbolism and the medallion have flowing lines rather than geometric shapes (a characteristic of antique Heriz carpets known as \"Serapi\"). A marvelous carpet from 1880-90, measuring 350 x 230 cm. Magnificent Herati motifs in the central medallion and borders, with a delicate overall composition. Rare shades of yellow and subtle green. Node count: 130,000-135,000 per square meter.
