Glatter Armin (1916-1931) was born in Moldavia, but studied art in Budapest from 1882 to 1885 at the Mintarajziskolában school with Károly Lotz and then moved from 1886 to the Royal Academy of Arts in Munich with Gabriel von Hackl.
He traveled extensively and stayed for a year in Paris. He began teaching and was among the founders of the SÉSZEK artists' association.
From 1888 he exhibited his works in the Art Gallery of Budapest. His works are exhibited in the Hungarian National Gallery.
The antique frame and painting have been carefully and professionally restored.
