Description:
Splendid Sardinian shawl, hand-embroidered with polychrome floral decorations in yellow, green, pink and blue, with long hand-applied fringes knotted in macramé: made in Oliena around 1970/1980. Called Su mucadore, it is used by Sardinian women during festivals in traditional costume. The shawl alone measures 80x80 cm plus, on each side, another 55 cm which include the macramé (10 cm) and the fringes (45 cm). It is in perfect condition.
