He exhibited his paintings at the "Salon des Artistes Français" in Paris from 1904 to 1914.
He continuously exhibited his works at the "Société lyonnaise des Beaux-Arts" from 1919-1959.
He was praised by the press of the period for his ability to portray subjects in their
intimate expressiveness in moments of everyday life. His painting was defined as "intimist painting."
The work is presented with a beautiful gilded frame from the twentieth century.
