A beautiful Gashgai nomad saddle, with its cheerful, vibrant colors, full of small figures: practically the whole tribe! It was probably a wedding gift in a Gashgai tribe of central Iran. It is a sturdy rug but with a particular workmanship, better suited to be admired than stomped on.
It is part of my personal collection of nomadic rugs.
