A small rug from my private collection - It is an example from the Afshary nomads, completely covered in embroidered designs: it was used as an armchair, or as a tablecloth, for guests. The first time I was in Iran I couldn't sit on the carpets, practically on the floor; then I gradually got used to it. This example from my private collection is now for sale.
