Wooden relief sculpture, carved panel "Holy Family" - 19th century.
Splendid high-relief carved walnut panel depicting the Holy Family; the Madonna holds the Baby Jesus in her lap, behind them is St. Joseph who, in his right hand, holds his carpentry tools, at the foot of the Virgin is sculpted the Lamb. In the background, there are houses and vegetal ornaments.
The state of preservation is good, there are no missing parts.
The panel on the back has "galleries" due to the passage of woodworms; in my opinion, the board used was planed before being carved.
Equipped with a black lacquered frame.
Measurements: cm. 53 x 43 - panel cm. 45.5 x 35.5.
Period: 19th century.
