The project aims to protect the artist's work and at the same time make public, accessible and purchasable by the public splendid drawings that Bucci created during the twenties and thirties during his travels in Italy, Europe, the Middle East and the East.
This first volume collects a series of four albums with drawings made between October 1928 and February 1930, a period that we know Bucci lived between Paris and Milan in a not very clear "Franco-Milanese amphibian life" (according to a curious definition by Ugo Nebbia of 1930).
There are animals, projects for the steamship California, for which he designed and built the interiors (together with those for two other ships, Timavo and Duchessa d'Aosta), some beautiful plates taken at La Scala and dedicated to the performances of Tannhauser and the Girl of the West, but above all splendid female nudes.
The sketch for the work "Funeral of an Anarchist", created in Rome in 1919 with clear Futurist intentions, is also published here for the first time.
The works, framed, are offered accompanied by the volume that contains them and documents the genesis of the Master's creative moment.
