Pair of paintings by Dino Uberti, oil on plywood and canvas, "Nature Morte," signed, 20th Century.
Dino Uberti, a famous collector and painter, confirms the peculiarities of his artistic style. This depiction, with its calligraphic touch and precise brushwork, reveals great painterly skill. Everything has an immaterial and two-dimensional texture, characteristic of Chiarismo in a refined post-impressionist style.
Both paintings are signed and dated 1931 and 1935.
Measurements: H 50 x W 60 cm.
Dino Uberti (Biella, 1885 - Livorno, 1949).
An artist trained in the Livorno area, he developed a painting style with refined naturalist ancestry from the late Macchiaioli fundamentals that still lingered in the Labronica figurative culture, grafting onto it a strong search for volumetric solidity and preferring densely textured mixtures.
