Recognized by Professor Enrico Lucchese, the work is an important unpublished piece by the painter, rediscovered a few years ago by Professor Giorgio Fossaluzza (who confirms the attribution), demonstrating originality in the interpretation of the biblical subject and stylistic similarities with Antonio Bellucci and Antonio Molinari.
