NAPOLEON PENDULUM TABLE CLOCK, FIRST HALF OF THE 19TH CENTURY  Translated
Description:
This elegant gilt and burnished bronze pendulum table clock pays homage to the magnificence of Napoleon Buonaparte. The upper part features the bust of the emperor in white porcelain, while the wire suspension mechanism ensures precise operation. The porcelain dial is supported and enriched by four crouching lions, a symbol of royalty. The base is decorated with frames worked in gilded bronze, with the image of Vulcan on the front, the God of fire who builds the battle ax, in honor of Napoleon's war exploits. This clock is of French manufacture, with the mark of the famous Sèvres manufactory from the first half of the 19th century on the back. A unique piece that combines the elegance of design with the history and grandeur of the French emperor. Measurements: HxWxD 50 x 17 x 11cm  Translated
