Glossary:
RIGAMENÀ / TWISTED RIGADIN: A decorative motif used in the production of Murano lamps and chandeliers, which gives the surface of the glass the unmistakable spiral workmanship. The technique consists of inserting the vitreous blob, attached to the blowpipe, inside a bronze mold, called bronzin. The texture imprinted on the vitreous mass widens when blown, forming the texture in question. It is important to remember that the mold imprints the decorative motif but not the shape, which is made strictly freehand.
