Art-Deco ring in gold, platinum, diamonds and rubies  Translated
Description:
Extraordinary French Art-Deco ring (1925-40), in the shape of a stylized bow, in 18-karat gold (750) and platinum, characterized in the center by a beautiful natural oval-shaped diamond, from the nineteenth century (Old Mine cut) weighing approximately 1.20 carats and SI1 clarity, mounted on platinum. It is surrounded by 8 natural diamonds, round brilliant cut, of 0.35 carats each (for a total of approximately 2.80 carats), 7 of SI2 clarity and one of VS2, mounted on platinum and 28 natural rubies (red corundum), with a faceted square cut, weighing a total of approximately 0.44 carats, mounted on gold. The 11 g. ring, which bears the mixed French hallmarks of the gold title (tête d'aigle, eagle's head) and platinum (tête de chien, dog's head), in use since December 29, 1927, is very spectacular and, due to the presence of the "wings", should be worn on the ring or middle finger of the hand (current size approximately 10 cm, modifiable). Accompanied by a gemological certificate that certifies the authenticity of the stones (CISGEM of Milan), it would be ideal as an engagement ring.  Translated
