Delightful antique Italian table, "truly unusual", in carved and sculpted solid wood with a removable work jewelry box compartment, lined in red fabric (probably silk..) and ring handles. The top is a tray, also removable with a sublime ceramic tray-shaped insert painted and stamped Faenza, used as an empty pocket.
The shape of the legs is saber-shaped and the design is typical of the Neogothic period that began in the first half of the 19th century.
The origin is Italian, but it is difficult to understand from which region of Italy... but having proof that the tray is Faenza... it confirms that the origin is Northern Italy.
