He was a pupil of Giacomo Grosso and Cesare Ferro at the Turin Academy, and he obtained the first prize for the nude drawing license. He exhibited for the first time in Turin, while still a student, at the Promotrice of 1924, then at all the exhibitions of the Promotrice and the Amici dell'arte; in Milan, at the Permanente; in Bologna, at the Landscape Exhibition; in Florence, at the Pitti Palace Exhibition (1927); in Genoa, in Varallo Sesia, in Novara. He deals with the figure and still life, but prefers the landscape, and some of his snow paintings are treated with remarkable ease and simplicity. He lived for several years in America. He is oriented towards modern manifestations of art, while remaining faithful to the tradition of his masters. Some of his works: "Sunset among the haystacks"; "Ray of the sun in the mountains", purchased by the Prince of Piedmont from the Turin Promotrice in 1928; "Old Willows" and "Renovated Willows", property of the Marquis Medici del Vascello; "Grey"; "Accordi", exhibited at the Turin Quadrennial in 1927; "Monti Cappuccini d'inverno", exhibited in Turin in 1930; "Snow and frost"; "Portrait of Countess Carla Colli di Felizzano".
