Lacquered and gilded wooden angel sculpture from Central Italy, depicted standing on a square, plinth-shaped base bearing letters on three sides (?), with losses and wear consistent with the dating in the late 16th century.
Missing one arm and the wings, it has maintained its charm.
It is presumed that the wings were nailed onto the back rather than inserted, as there are no signs of insertion.
Measurements: base cm. 10.5 x 10.5 - height cm. 34.5.
