Beautiful pair of antique engravings from the mid-19th century with original period gilt wood frame. Both engraved by Jazet Jean Pierre Marie (France 1788/ ca. 1871) on different subjects.
- "Louis XV at the Battle of Fontenoy" on May 11, 1745, from a work by the painter Emile Jean Horace Vernet made in 1828
- "The Last Day of Pompeii" from a work by the painter Frédérick-Henri Schopin made in 1850. Excellent condition, some defects due to age in the golden frame, we advise you to look carefully at all the images.
