The mechanism, of great complexity, is activated by inserting the correct coin (weighed by precise counterweights to avoid counterfeits). Once the coin is inserted and the machine is wound with the crank, the arm automatically activates, descends, plays the record, and at the end automatically returns to the starting position, locking itself and waiting for a new coin. At the end of the day, the owner of the coffee shop of the time, opened the special drawer with the key and took the coins. Object in excellent condition and working order.
