Fascinating polychrome terracotta sculpture depicting Saint Anne with the Virgin Mary as a child. The composition rests on a beautiful base embellished with festoons at the corners. Saint Anne is depicted with the evident signs of age that furrow her face, while on the other hand, the Madonna is young, and her image encompasses a mixture of innocence and concern, almost as if she knew what destiny she would face. The state of conservation is perfect, the polychromy still presents the original brilliance. The artifact dates back to the Louis XIV period and comes from central Italy. It measures 21 cm in height, the base measures 12 cm x 8 cm.
