Antique large gilded wooden frame gilded with pure gold leaf of French origin and Empire period.
The gilding is very beautiful and intact, with elegant bas-relief work and pastille applications with a floral motif on the edge of the frame with delicate and large acanthus leaves closing the four corners. The outer edge also features small corded workmanship.
