Oil on canvas painting attributed to the painter Giuseppe Ponga, depicting a lively seascape with architectural fantasy. Venetian painter from the late 19th century, early 20th century. The last 'Guardi-esque' painter, 'imitating Francesco Guardi,' worthy of note and attention from international critics. Beautiful execution of the work, depicting the fishermen's workday with a beautiful architectural fantasy on the right, showing a ruined portico covered in vegetation at the top. The painting is finally inserted into a beautiful and simple gilded frame, slightly worked at edges, contemporary with the painting but adapted to it. ERA Late 19th century, early 20th century.
