Biography

Born in Genoa, he resided in Boazio (Vercelli). At a very young age, he won the Triennial Pension. He then competed for the Galliera Prize and others at the Turin Exposition, succeeding first in the competition.
He executed the fresco "The Glory of St. Michael" in the Cathedral of S. Paolo dei Cavalieri. Other frescoes painted by him can be found in several churches in Liguria. He took part in various exhibitions, including that of the "Independents" in 1911, being noted for the painting "Ligurian Blue."
He is a member of the Ligustica Academy of Fine Arts in Genoa. He also cultivates sculpture.
In 1904, he participated in the "Italian Exhibition Earl's Court" in London, organised by the Italian Chamber of Commerce in London, exhibiting the painting "Love me, love me not".
