Antique mother-of-pearl bell, dating back to the early 1900s (or earlier?) consisting of 4 small shells mounted in silver plate on a white marble base. The bell mechanism consists of a metal base on which the small brass arm is tapped with a finger.
It bears the inscription: Souvenir de Villers.
It was used to call the servants. (some mischievous people have said otherwise...)
