He was a member of the jury of the "Salon Des Artistes Français" and exhibited at the "Salon de la Sociétaire Nationale des Beaux-Arts"
and became a member in 1896.
He received many awards and a silver medal at the "Exposition Universelle" of 1900 and a gold medal at the "Philotechnique".
The oil painting is adorned with a beautiful golden frame contemporary to the work.
