Description:
Magnificent tea and coffee set made in Italy in the second half of the 19th century: consisting of an elegant tray (62x44 cm; h.2.5 cm, 81x44 cm with handles) with a ciseled well featuring floral and foliate elements (photo no. 1 and 2), border decorated with small leaves, made by casting (lost wax) like the handles (16 cm; h.10 cm), in which, centrally, there are classical faces (photo no. 4). The set includes: the coffee pot (h. 20 cm; from handle to spout 27 cm, base diameter 11 cm, body diameter 16 cm), the teapot (h. 16 cm; from handle to spout 26 cm, base diameter 11 cm, body diameter 14 cm), the sugar bowl (h. 15 cm; from handle to handle 23 cm, base diameter 10 cm, body diameter 15 cm) and the milk jug (h. 10 cm; from handle to spout 19 cm, base diameter 9 cm, body diameter 13 cm) which reflect, halfway up the body, a band with the foliate decoration that is in the border of the tray (in the coffee pot there are two bands).
