Biography: Born in Como in 1956, he grew up in Meda and started working in the family business as a surveyor. Already as a boy he became passionate about photography, participating in photographic competitions using classic black and white films. He debuted using a Widelux camera for an on the road research. From 1983 he began to use Polaroid instant photos, through which he expresses a personal technique that results in a real photographic mosaic. The Polaroid is used to break down and recompose the image into mosaics, recreating the photographed subject, reinterpreting it.
