The bronze triptych consists of a central clock and two lateral candlesticks. All three elements have a similar base: a square base supports a Rouge Griotte marble plinth, around which is a bronze laurel wreath, finely chiseled with a burin. The clock features the bronze figure of a cherub kneeling on his left leg, while his right is advanced and partially covered by a drape that also hides his groin. His head is bowed in an attitude of effort, while both arms are raised to support the clock case. The latter, gilded and decorated with chisel and burin with a beaded cord that echoes the decoration on the marble plinth, is decorated on the top with a bow. On the dial, the hours are marked with Roman numerals, while the minutes, marked every five minutes, are marked with Arabic numerals; even the bronze hands are finely decorated with phytomorphic motifs.
The watchmaker's signature "Et.ne Lenoir / AParis" is present on the dial.
The two candlesticks also depict two bronze cherubs with butterfly wings, mirroring each other: one leg is raised and the weight of the body is shifted forward, in the momentum of a race, the face is turned upwards in an expression between astonishment and amusement. The arms are open and support two candle holders that represent torches with the fire lit, in gilded bronze; the drape that wraps around the hips of the two figures is also in gilded bronze.
Clock dimensions: 55 × 16.7 × 16.7 cm;
Candlestick dimensions: 40.5 x 12 x 14 cm
