Beautiful Sicilian chest richly painted, centrally on the backrest is depicted a rampant lion with feathered mane that surmounts a quartered coat of arms with flower, lily and eight-pointed star, all around festoons of flowers and fruit wrapped in a ribbon, crown, draperies and volutes. The seat and sides are painted in faux marble.
