Writing chest of drawers with four drawers veneered in open-pore walnut with ebonized columns.
The upper drop-front drawer, like a writing desk, features a black leather insert. Four additional small drawers are present in what is technically called a "castle", which has a secret: four additional small hidden drawers. The sides of the drop-front are particular, closed, with a splendid fan inlay in various woods.
The lower part of the cabinet is characterized by a convex front.
Austrian Empire, Biedermeier period, ca. 1830.
