Round cigarette holder in glazed ceramic with decorations from the "Giornali" series, produced by Fornasetti Milano in the 1950s-60s. Dimensions: Height 6.6 cm Diameter 7 cm Fornasetti created various objects decorated with subjects from the "Giornali" series such as ashtrays, jars and pencil holders, hat and rocking horse paperweights, medium and elongated sheet ashtrays and so on, all having as a common theme the reproduction of a newspaper headline. The object proposed here, of simple and linear formal conformation, is characterized by the reproduction of the headline of "Il Giorno", a historical Milanese newspaper founded in 1956.
