Delicate devotional representation of fantasy, on a large format, of a sacred allegorical scene divided into three panels. In the central one is the Madonna with the Child, both beautifully executed, with a very earthly domestic and sweetly devotional aspect. Both She and the Child, who holds an olive branch in his hand, do not have a halo to accentuate its Earthliness highlighted by beautiful features (of a "Mom with her Baby") that characterize them. The gentle scene is framed with simplicity and "intentional naivety" by a bucolic background in which we find, in the lower left, a farmer, surmounted by a rainbow, working the land with oxen after the rain. Olive branches (symbol of Universal Peace) surround the Marian image above. In the left panel (right for the viewer) we see a musical Angel announcing the glad tidings of the Birth of Jesus (probably the artist intends to depict, always in a devotional way, the Archangel Gabriel playing the trumpet to announce the joy of believers). In the right panel (left for the viewer) here is another Archangel (indicated by the wings) who scatters incense "on the Altar of Heaven flown to Earth" (....."Then another angel came and stood at the altar, holding a golden censer. He was given much incense to offer, together with the prayers of all the saints, on the golden altar before the throne. And the smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of the saints, went up before God from the angel's hand”..... (Revelation 8:1-4). The three panels of the painting are surrounded and interspersed with flowered racemes of roses and jasmines, which accentuate the "gentle and loving" aspect of this beautiful and musical "sacred fantasy".
