Born in Montalcino (Si) in 1943, he worked in Florence and abroad.
Painter, sculptor, engraver, mosaicist, set designer, he studied at the Art School of Rome where his master for the fresco was Alberto Ziveri and he held exhibitions in Via Margutta. Subsequently he had a studio in Brussels and organized personal and collective exhibitions.
In the Sixties he was in Africa teaching. Then he returned to Italy and continued an intense pictorial and exhibition activity in various European countries, especially in Germany.
The sunshine of the landscape, the expressive suggestion of certain views, the descriptive precision and the intensity of the psychological rendering in the figure and the portrait, connote his language.
He died in Florence on July 28, 2009.
