Rare Shahsavan kilim from my private collection: polychrome stripes with small embroidery of flowers and garlands -
It was probably the front of a bag; the back, worn, was removed. This specimen shows how carefully a girl prepared the various pieces of her trousseau, with imagination and extreme attention to detail.
I recommend placing it on a chest, or on the back of an armchair, or hanging it on the wall, or on a simple stool.
